Youth Employment Forum

What about young people?

A global Youth Employment Forum was held at ILO headquarters in Geneva from the 23rd to 25th of May 2012. The Forum served as a space to incorporate the voices of youth into the discussion on the current youth employment crisis; for young people from all over the world to come together, discuss their experiences relating to the youth employment challenge and share their knowledge and expertise. Good Practices

In conjunction with the Youth Employment Forum, the ILO Youth Employment Programme called for good practices on youth employment in order to create a database of good practices that have proven effective in promoting decent work for young people and to create a community of experts on the topic. The five selected good practices initiative, one from each region, were invited to present their practice at the Youth Employment Forum.
