Virtual training manual on pedagogical skills for mentors of workplace apprenticeship programmes

The videographic is jointly developed by ILO in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin), the Indonesian National Movement for Competency (GNIK), the Confederation of All Indonesian Trade Unions (KSBSI) and the Confederation of All Workers Union (KSPSI AITUC).

The virtual training improves the capacity of mentors in providing advice and guidance as well as communication skills aspects to their mentees related to the learning and training aspects of the apprenticeship.

Through good mentorship programme, apprentices could better develop their technical and non-technical skills and improve their employability and skills matched.

The virtual manual can be accessed through two platforms:
1. Ministry of Manpower’s platform
2. Mobile application

The development of the virtual training is supported by the ILO’s Japan-funded project on industry skills for inclusive growth in Indonesia.
