UN’s support to social protection in Lao People's Democratic Republic
Ms Sara Sekkenes, UN Resident Coordinator in Lao People's Democratic Republic, spoke about the coordinated efforts of ILO, UNICEF and UNCDF under the UN Joint Programme on Social Protection Floors in Lao People's Democratic Republic.
“We do believe that to achieve at scale the result that is needed from the Sustainable Development Goals that will truly “leave no one behind”, we have to go at scale. And the only way to go at scale is to work with the national structures and to build-up a national programme.” Ms Sara Sekkenes, UN Resident Coordinator in Lao People's Democratic Republic.
