Training is paramount to access the overseas market

A brief interview with Shameem Ahmed Noman, Joint Secretary, Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (Baira) about the need for upgrading training facilities for migrant workers from Bangladesh.

He speaks about how, in a competitive job market, it is essential that migrant workers are trained to address the needs of the international market. While training facilities do exist and have expanded over the years, there is a pressing need to upgrade them to meet the demands of potential employers. He calls for greater co-operation between private companies and government training agencies so as to improve and modernize these facilities.
