Rooting out child labour from cocoa farms

• Paper No. 1: A synthesis report of five rapid assessments
  This paper describes the findings of five country-level (Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea and Nigeria) rapid assessments on child labour in agriculture in cocoa growing and other crops.
• Paper No. 2: Safety and health hazards
  The paper highlights safety and health hazards and risks for children in the context of farming cocoa in West Africa, where children are known to be working under hazardous conditions.
• Paper No. 3: Sharing experiences
  This paper summarizes the experiences, outcomes and lessons learned from implementing the WACAP project in West Africa. While it highlights the emerging successful strategies, of which there are many, it also explores the project’s limitations and weaknesses in the face of numerous contextual and programmatic challenges.
• Paper No. 4: Child labour monitoring – A partnership of communities and government
  This paper summarizes the experiences, outcomes and lessons learned from setting up community-based child labour monitoring in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana.

The series of papers is complemented by two training manuals for education practitioners and farmers:
