Welcome to ILO’s training tool on living wages!

This self-paced module helps you to learn about living wages and the ILO principles of wage-setting processes. In particular, it will allow you to know:

• How the ILO denotes the concept of a living wage;
• The main features of the methodologies to estimate living wages and the principles that these methodologies should follow;
• How the living wage landscape looks like, including some general considerations regarding current living wage initiatives;
• How to operationalize living wages within the broader wage-setting process.
