Integrating skills for just transition in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) 3.0

NDCs 3.0 are a key strategic priority from a just transition and decent work perspective, as they can leverage climate action to create decent jobs and mitigate potential negative impacts on labour markets.

To support this effort, the ILO has developed a guidance note on integrating skills for just transition into NDCs 3.0. The guidance note highlights the critical role of skills for just transition, provides practical steps and guiding questions for the inclusion of skills in NDCs, and showcases concrete approaches through country examples.
