Green Employment Diagnostics Toolkit

Key checklists, frameworks and reporting templates to undertake a diagnosis of the impacts of climate change on the economy, labour market and poverty/ inequality dynamics of a country and to enable development of appropriate policy recommendations.

The purpose of this toolkit is to complement the guidelines on undertaking a green employment diagnostics to help officials understand and respond to the opportunities and threats posed by climate change, and policy responses to these, in a country of interest. The checklists, frameworks, and reporting templates presented within the three-step process for informing green employment diagnostics are adaptable to the distinct requirements and circumstances of the country being examined. Officials entrusted with the implementation of these diagnostics, while utilizing this toolkit, are strongly urged to customize its application in accordance with the unique needs of the respective country under study.
