This toolkit is a practical resource to better understand the online gig economy, whether for personal learning or to support awareness-raising and training sessions. It includes three components:

Slide deck: A concise presentation that captures key messages from the booklet.
8 short animated videos: A set of engaging videos illustrating key themes of the toolkit through stories.
Developed under the PROSPECTS Opportunity Fund project “Promotion, inclusion and protection of refugees and host communities in the gig economy”, financed by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the toolkit draws from pilot activities and feedback from gig workers in Kenya and Uganda, including in rural and refugee-hosting areas.
