If you have resources to engage a professional crew then please do! However, you can also record your message by yourself with a smart phone by following the instructions below:
Hold the phone horizontally at eye level
Keep the phone still or prop it up on something to stop it moving
Try not to stand in front of a window or have bright lights behind you. You can have the name of your organization (backdrop or stand up banner) behind you.
If you have a microphone then great. If not, make sure you are close enough so that the sound picks up well. Ideally, your head and shoulders should be visible.
When filming, look at the camera and not at your picture on the screen. Try not to flick your eyes back and forward!
The more natural the recording is, the more effective it will be. If possible, try not to read out a script but speak naturally.
Try recording your video a number of times. It’s hard to get it right first time!

Send the film clips to [email protected] by wetransfer.com, Google Drive, Drop Box etc. so that they can be added to Roll of Champions list!
