A stronger labour inspectorate for Bangladesh

Since 2013 the ILO has supported the reform of the Bangladesh labour inspectorate so that it is better able to carry out its mandate in a credible, accountable and effective manner. The Inspector General of DIFE explains the changes that have taken place with support of ILO's Improving Working Conditions in the Ready Made Garment Sector programme funded by Canada, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
