Stop COVID-19 at work!

Some employers and workers never stopped working during the pandemic, some have just come back to work, and others are beginning to return to their workplaces – on land, deep underground, at sea or in the air.

The ILO has developed a general action checklist for the prevention and mitigation of COVID-19 at work, a policy brief on a safe and healthy return to work during the COVID-19 pandemic and ten action points for a safe return to work, along with general guidance for employers on COVID-19 prevention.

The ILO has furthermore developed – or contributed to other United Nations agencies’ – more detailed guidance and tools to assist employers and workers in preventing and controlling COVID-19 in specific sectors:
