Social protection in Lao People's Democratic Republic

From 2020 to 2022, the UN Joint Programme supported the Government of Lao People's Democratic Republic to strengthen the national social protection system, by building national capacities, improving public finance management, and piloting a social assistance programme for pregnant women and newborn children.
