Global Accelerator Future Foresight Lab Cambodia

A Future Foresight Lab workshop was held in Kampot, Cambodia, from 28 – 30 May 2025, organized by the ILO and ITCILO Turin in collaboration with the Global Accelerator Joint Programme, Decent Employment for Youth Phase III and the ILO-China Partnership Project on Skills Development. The event brought together policymakers and tripartite constituents to strengthen national foresight capabilities with a specific focus on supporting the review and reformulation of the National Employment and National TVET Policies. Over the three days, participants explored drivers of change, envisioned alternative futures and crafted a shared vision for Cambodia’s Future of Work 2040. The workshop culminated in actionable strategies aligned with the Global Accelerator Roadmap, the National Pentagonal Strategy Phase 1 and LDC graduation goals, reinforcing Cambodia’s commitment to building a resilient, future-ready workforce.
