Labour-based technology: A review of current practice: Proceedings of the 11th regional seminar for labour-based practitioners, 2nd - 7th October 2005, Mombasa, Kenya

The proceedings cover the summaries of the issues that were discussed during the group and plenary sessions, as well as issues emanting from the field visits during the 11th regional seminar. The theme of the seminar was: Integrated labour-based approach for socio-economic development. Various papers were presented and these have been grouped into four main themes which are: community participation and performance-based contracting; impact, monitoring and evaluation, as well as environmental sustainability; training, research and development; and policy and upscaling, sustainable financing and resource allocation
