Decision concerning the review of the modalities of recurrent discussions under the follow-up to the ILO Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization (2008), as amended in 2022

The Governing Body:

(a) reaffirmed the role of recurrent discussions in strengthening the capacity of the ILO to support Members in promoting decent work through the four strategic objectives and in contributing to a more strategic setting of the Conference agenda;

(b) requested the Director-General to take the necessary steps to follow up on the guidance it provided during the discussion of document GB.356/INS/6 with a view to strengthening the effectiveness of the recurrent discussions for the current cycle (2026-30).
