Decision concerning the process of the determination of the Members of chief industrial importance

The Governing Body:

(a) decided to undertake a determination of the Members of chief industrial importance and to place a corresponding item on the agenda of its 358th Session (November 2026) for decision;

(b) invited the Director-General to submit a proposal concerning the appointment of a committee of experts and the related financial arrangements to its Officers, so that the Governing Body could take the corresponding decisions at its 357th Session (June 2026).
