Decision concerning the arrangements for the consideration of allocation matters by the Government members of the Governing Body

The Governing Body decided that:

(a) existing arrangements for the consideration of allocation matters by the Government members of the Governing Body be revised so that, in future, a private meeting of the Government members would be required only when a new triennial United Nations scale is established or when other significant changes, such as the addition of new Member States, require the re-examination of the scale;

(b) when no meeting of the Government members of the Governing Body would be convened, allocation matters would be considered by the Programme, Financial and Administrative Section of the Governing Body directly.
