Decision concerning the composition, agenda and programme of standing bodies and meetings

The Governing Body, upon the recommendation of its Officers:

(a) approved the holding of a meeting of experts on challenges to the implementation and ratification of the Seafarers’ Identity Documents Convention (Revised), 2003, as amended (No. 185), and its proposed arrangements;

(b) approved the holding of a meeting of experts on occupational safety and health in extreme weather events and changing weather patterns and its proposed arrangements, with the composition and agenda to be submitted to the 353rd Session (March 2025);

(c) approved the extension of the duration of the Technical Meeting on Access to Labour Justice for All: Prevention and Resolution of Labour Disputes;

(d) endorsed the proposals made in relation to the invitation of intergovernmental and international non-governmental organizations to official meetings, as listed in the appendix to document GB.352/INS/22;

(e) took note of the programme of meetings contained in Part II of document GB.352/INS/22, subject to further decision-making of the Governing Body.
