Decision concerning the review of the functioning of the Governing Body, identification of possible areas for improvement and arrangements and time frame for results-based follow-up action

The Governing Body:
(a) took note of the document prepared by the Office;
(b) requested the Director-General to organize tripartite consultations to seek convergence on the areas for improvement, and to prepare, on the basis of those consultations, a report with proposals on the issues to address and the modalities for continuing the discussion, including options for the establishment of a time-bound working party, for consideration by the Governing Body at its 351st Session (June 2024).
