Decision concerning the proposed arrangements for the ILO regional meetings to be held during the trial period

The Governing Body:
a) adopted the modalities proposed in document GB.350/INS/7 for the ILO regional meetings to be held on a trial basis for a period of four years (2025-28);
b) agreed to suspend article 10(7) of the Rules for regional meetings during the trial period, and decided that, except with the unanimous consent of the Officers of the meeting, no speech shall exceed four minutes;
c) requested the Office to prepare, for its consideration at either its 351st (June 2024) or its 352nd (November 2024) Session, a document containing the proposed venue and date of the next regional meeting.
