Decision concerning the composition, agenda and programme of standing bodies and meetings

The Governing Body, upon the recommendation of its Officers:

(a) appointed for a period of three years, three new members of the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations:

(i) Advocate Irene Kashindi

(ii) Judge Iain Ross

(iii) Professor Mia Rönnmar
(b) reappointed for a period of three years the following five members:

(i) Ms Leila Azouri

(ii) Ms Graciela Dixon Caton

(iii) Mr Alain Lacabarats

(iv) Mr Sandile Ngcobo

(v) Ms Mónica Pinto
(c) took note of the clarified and partially reformulated criteria for the selection of members of the Committee of Experts, approved by the Officers, as indicated in paragraph 12 of GB.349/INS/20;

(d) approved the holding of a meeting of experts on wage policies, including living wages and its proposed date, composition and agenda;

(e) endorsed the proposals made in relation to the invitation of intergovernmental and international non-governmental organizations as listed in Appendix II to document GB.349/INS/20;

(f) took note of the programme of meetings contained in Part II of document GB.349/INS/20, subject to further decision-making of the Governing Body.
