Decision on the fifth item on the agenda: Matters arising out of the work of the 101st Session (2012) of the International Labour Conference

Follow-up to the adoption of the resolution concerning efforts to make social protection floors a national reality worldwide

The Governing Body requested the Director-General:

(a) to take into account the guidance given by the Governing Body in pursuing the strategy for action on social protection floors and to draw on it in preparing future programme and budget proposals and in developing resource mobilization initiatives;

(b) to communicate the resolution concerning efforts to make social protection floors a national reality worldwide in the standard manner to the governments of member States and through them to the national employers’ and workers’ organizations.
