Decision concerning the report of the Director-General

The Governing Body:

(a) took note of the information contained in document GB.352/INS/19(Rev.1) regarding obituaries, the membership of the Organization, the follow-up to the decision of the Governing Body to request an advisory opinion to the International Court of Justice, progress in international labour legislation and internal administration;

(b) paid tribute to the memory of Mr Membathisi Mphumzi Shepherd Mdladlana and invited the Director-General to convey its condolences to the family of Mr Mdladlana and to the Government of South Africa;

(c) paid tribute to the memory of Mr Francisco Díaz Garaycoa and invited the Director-General to convey its condolences to the family of Mr Díaz Garaycoa, to the Government of Ecuador and to the International Organisation of Employers (IOE);

(d) paid tribute to the memory of Ms Ana Cecilia Gervasi Díaz and invited the Director-General to convey its condolences to the family of Ms Gervasi Díaz and to the Government of Peru.
