The Governing Body, on the basis of the views expressed in the discussion, instructed the Office to inform the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that the ILO is not in agreement with the ISO’s proposed activity in the field of human resource management as it would interfere with the work of the ILO, and that the ISO should abstain from any further action in this field.
