Radiant is a member of the national agricultural insurance scheme funded by the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources. The government provides 40 per cent subsidy of premiums. Radiant is a leading insurer in the scheme and covers 60 per cent of the members. The pilot focuses on expanding the scheme to cover more farmers and livestock.

Education campaigns to build awareness of agricultural insurance-based amongst consumers and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector
Technology implementation to reduce operational costs and improve fraud detection
