Promoting decent work in the rural sectors in the Philippines (long version)

ILO, with support from the US Department of Labor (US DOL), launched a new project on Improving Workers' Rights in the Rural Sectors of the Indo-Pacific with a focus on Women on 11 August 2021, via Zoom, in the Philippines.

The ILO, Project on Improving Workers' Rights in the Rural Sectors of the Indo-Pacific with a focus on Women, funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL), aims to improve the promotion and compliance to labour laws, occupational safety and health, and gender equality in the rural sectors in the Philippines and Indonesia, with a focus on women workers. The project is implemented as part of the ILO Safety+Health for All Flagship Programme – aimed at improving the safety and health of workers worldwide.
