Just transition – a priority for trade unions in transformation

At the occasion of the COP28 – the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) - being held in Dubai (30 Nov - 12 Dec 2023), it is key to highlight the need for trade unions’ engagement around climate change and sustainable development. COP28 is the supreme decision-making body of the Convention and brings together governments from all over the world. Key stakeholders from around the world, including a huge delegation of trade unionists, are also present to advocate for climate issues and just transition.
