The survey was undertaken by The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), in collaboration with the Statistical Information and Monitoring Program on Child Labour (SIMPOC) of the International Labour Organization/International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (ILO/IPEC) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), to provide baseline information for the development of a database on child labour and to provide baseline data for programme development and monitoring.
