Guyana: Report to the Government - Sixth Actuarial Review of the National Insurance Fund as of 31 December 2001

The Government is encouraged to initiate major reforms now to bring long-term sustainability to the Fund. Less substantial amendments will merely postpone depletion of NIS reserves by a few years.
