A Presentation on the Traceability and sustainable coconut: Learning from a recent digital traceability and responsible supply chain initiatives

The ILO was invited to present at the 2nd World Coconut Congress on the topic of the blockchain application in the coconut industry for sustainability and traceability. The Congress was held at the SMX Convention Center in Manila from 27 - 29 August 2019.

The concept had been discussed with the industry association - the United Coconut Association of the Philippines (UCAP) along with the tripartite constituents and other key stakeholders of the coconut sector in the context of the ILO Responsible Supply Chain Asia Project
