POLICY/PUBLICATIONS
A key milestone of the TVET Reform Project has been the development and approval of the National Skills Development Policy. This was followed by a number of other publications to help employers, institutions and non-government organisations understand and implement the policy.

POLICY
- Bangladesh Skills Development Policy 2010-2016 Provides the vision and direction for skills development in Bangladesh, setting out the major reforms that government will implement in partnership with industry, workers and civil society.

- National Strategy for Promotion of Gender Equality in TVET Making the recommendations of the National Skills Policy into specific actions to improve female participation in skills.

- The National Skills Development System in Bangladesh (2015) The EU-funded ‘Technical and Vocational Education and Training Reform in Bangladesh (TVETR)’ project implemented by ILO helped develop strategies, tools and procedures envisioned in the National Skills Development Policy. This publication presents the main elements of this work that provide a foundation upon which future skills initiatives for Bangladesh will be built.
