Social dialogue in times of crisis

Social dialogue should never be taken for granted, not even in countries with old traditions of industrial relations. In his most recent paper “Social Dialogue in Times of Crisis”, Ludek Rychly looks at lessons learnt from past crises and proposes solutions for the current crisis. He argues that, in times of crisis, social dialogue can be very useful instrument in finding the “necessary balance between macroeconomic stability, employment growth and the protection of the most vulnerable sectors.”
