Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) in Thailand

In Thailand, ILO’s support focused on Policy Readiness assessment at national level on Green Jobs creation for a green recovery (in particular in the energy and agriculture sectors), while evaluating one of the six in-depth government funded recovery projects through a case study in Chiang Mai. Relevant training materials will be developed and a capacity building workshop with knowledge tour will be organized for local stakeholders based on the study findings. ILO will also conduct an employment impact analysis of carbon taxation scenarios with policy recommendations to integrate employment implications in the taxation policy making process.
