What is yoga ?
Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India, focusing on the union of body, mind & spirit. It involves a combination of physical postures (asanas), to improve flexibility, strength, and balance; breathing techniques (pranayama); and meditation/relaxation.
Practicing yoga offers a wide range of benefits for physical & mental health, such as physical benefits, by improving flexibility, building muscle strength, enhancing balance, boosting cardiovascular health and reducing inflammation. Yoga also contributes to reducing stress and enhancing focus & concentration, among other things.
