The Government of Lao People's Democratic Republic adopted the National Social Protection Strategy in April 2020, with 3 pillars: health insurance; social security; and social welfare. This video brings the voices of some of the beneficiaries. ILO supported the Government to organize a National Symposium on 31 July 2024 to raise general awareness of the Strategy.
