Regional follow-up

A regional report on the promotion and application of the MNE Declaration is prepared in view of each of the ILO regional meetings. The report is based on inputs received to a questionnaire sent to governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations of ILO member States of the specific region concerned. The report informs a special session during the ILO regional meeting, which provides a tripartite dialogue platform to discuss further promotional activities at the regional level.

The regional reporting is based on a four-year cycle with a report to be presented to the Governing Body at the end of each cycle.
