The ILO Disability Inclusion Strategy 2024-27, which contains indicators and targets that are aligned with the United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS) accountability framework for UN entities.
Following the Governing Body discussions on the new ILO Strategy on Disability Inclusion, which led to the adoption of the Strategy, the Disability Champions Network held an event on 3 December 2024 to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This event showcased disability inclusion work of Champions who are already implementing the Strategy throughout the ILO and explored ways of taking this work forward.
