The future of care economy in the Arab States

Throughout the course of our lives, every one of us will rely on the care of others. As the world’s population grows, and as it ages, so will the demand for care, including childhood education, social work, domestic work, healthcare services, disability care and long-term care for the elderly. The future care economy of the Arab States can generate more decent jobs, enable more women to join the workforce, and better protect the working conditions of care workers, including migrant workers.
