A host of disruptive trends – ranging from public health crises, to accelerated automation, digitalization, and climate change – are putting labour markets under stress. New realities require new kinds of skills and re-skilling to help workers stay employed, and enterprises stay competitive. Career guidance has emerged as a critical element in both recovery plans and forward-looking strategies for navigating through such disruptions.
