OFID-Kenya

HIV and AIDS are a major public health challenge with a 6% prevalence among adults aged 15-49 years, which is approximately 1.4 million people. HIV threatens not only the public health but also the long-term economic and social development of the country. The OFID-ILO Kenya programme combined institutional development and workplace action to address the socio-economic factors contributing to HIV risks and vulnerabilities with sector-specific interventions for the postal service, the supply-chain workers among other participating economic sectors.
