Occupational Health and Safety Policy 2023

The Policy provides guidelines on instilling a preventive occupational safety and health culture and rehabilitative health services while at the same time offering compensation to those who suffer physical injuries and occupational diseases. In addition, the Policy seeks to strengthen the capacity of oversight institutions and provide information on OSH. Further, the Policy is based on international occupational safety and health standards and global best practices to reduce the incidences of work­related accidents and diseases.
