World Day against Child Labour: a Roundtable in Dushanbe
A round table to mark the World Day Against Child Labour was held on 12 June 2019 at the Conference Hall of the Statistic Agency under the President of Republic of Tajikistan.

The roundtable was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of labour, migration and employment of population of Tajikistan, with financial and technical support of the ILO and UNICEF.
Mr Murodzoda Dustmurod, Head of the State Service for inspections in the sphere of labour, migration and employment of Tajikistan, opened the event. Welcoming speeches were made by Ms. Rajabmoh Habibullozoda, Child Ombudsperson, Ms. Zeynab Al-Azzavi, Deputy Representative of UNICEF and Mr. Sobir Aminov, ILO National Coordinator in Tajikistan. More than 50 participants from different Ministries, Committees, State Agencies, employers’’ and workers’ organizations, CSOs and representatives of mass media took part at the event.
The participants were briefed on the achievements and challenges in the sphere of elimination of the worst forms of child labour in Tajikistan. At the end of the round table the participants took a group photo as a memory of this important event.
