The webinar discussed the findings of a study, commissioned by the ILO, which was carried out by the Alliances Caucasus Programme (ALCP) on the linkages between market access, enterprise formalization and decent work. The ALCP successfully used the market systems development approach to encourage the formalization of farmers and agri-businesses in the Georgian dairy sector. In addition, the speakers shed light on how the formalized enterprises were more resilient to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
