Vsevolod Barbaneagra Passed Away

Almost all his life he devoted to the organized labour movement and invested a lot of effort into the development of t trade unions in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Vsevolod was the Deputy Chairman of National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova ( CNSM) and the head of the Central Asian inter-industry trade union education center in Bishkek. Later he became the Director of the Chisinau Institute of Labour, which has transformed into a modern educational and research center of the European level under his leadership. His calmness and kindness, thoroughness and open communication were trustworthy and added value to his words and arguments, and provided confidence in his statements.

Vsevolod participated actively as an expert in programmes by the International Labour Organization in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He was a highly esteemed among the trade unions in the regions.

We grieve together with relatives and friends of Vsevolod. We will remember him. And we will continue to do what we have started together once.
