Vocational Education and Business: the Dialogue of Partners

On November 19, Astana hosted the first international forum entitled Vocational Education and Business: the Dialogue of Partners. It was organized at the initiative of Kazakhstan’s Education and Science Ministry.
Taking part in the forum were state officials, representatives of the republic’s big companies and educational institutions as well as experts of UNESCO, ILO and the European Training Foundation.
The forum should help to develop effective mechanisms on how to train specialists to implement the government’s breakthrough projects, because the success of any business depends on people who do it, Kazakh Education and Science Minister Zhanseit Tuimebayev said.
