Viet Nam’s Deputy Prime Minister meets ILO Director General
The two sides discussed key issues, including Viet Nam’s commitment to universal labour rights and ILO’s support for the country’s social insurance and wage reforms.

DAVOS (ILO News) – Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue met with ILO Director General Guy Ryder on the sideline of World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on 25 January.
The two sides discussed Viet Nam’s commitment to the 1998 ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the ILO chief promised to provide further support for the country to carry out related reforms.
The senior Vietnamese Government official also appreciated ILO’s support for Viet Nam’s ongoing renovation process on social insurance and wages.
