Uzbekistan creates Coordination Council on Child Labour Issues

Uzbekistan has created the Coordination Council on Child Labour Issues that consists of representatives from the Council of the Trade Unions’ Federation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Farmers’ Council.

To further enhance work on the elimination of the worst forms of child labour the Coordination Council developed an action plan for the republic to take concrete actions to implement the ILO conventions.
