HANOI (ILO News) – Better Work Vietnam has introduced a new version of the Labour Code application for smartphone, which was successfully launched the first time a year ago.

Better Work is a global unique partnership programme between the ILO and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to improve working conditions and promote competitiveness in world’s garment supply chains. In Viet Nam, Better Work currently covers about 400 factories with 517,000 workers.

The 2017 version of the app contains all the previous well-received features of the first edition, together with a newly rebranded interface, new FAQs and quiz questions and all the latest updates in the Vietnamese labour laws. This includes new provisions on occupational safety and health and minimum wages.

Retaining its user-friendly navigation, the app is expected to continue to serve as a handy tool for factory managers, HR officers, compliance staff, buyers and vendors with sourcing interests in Viet Nam.

The labour law guide app is available for free on iOS and Android. You can find it using keywords "Vietnamese Labour Law" or follow the hyperlinks. If you have already downloaded the app, you will see a pop-up notification to download the update.
