Tripartite Commissions Meet in Moscow
On 13 December 2016, a tripartite delegation of Azerbaijan met with representatives of the Russian Tripartite Commission on Regulation of Social and Labour Relations (RTC) at the ILO Moscow Office.

Members of Azerbaijan's delegation included Abulfat Maharramov, Deputy Head of Labour Policy Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Vugar Zeynalov, Vice President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs' (Employers') Organisations, Hasan Jafarov, Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, and other representatives of the ILO's tripartite constituents. During their visit, Azerbaijan's delegation had an opportunity to meet with Natalia Zharova, RTC Executive Secretary, to learn more about the RTC's work and to discuss some of the key aspects of social partnership in a round-table format.
In Azerbaijan, the Tripartite Commission was established in September 2016 and is still at early stages of its operation. In this context, the exchange of experience and lessons learned with the RTC, established in 1992, has been a valuable contribution to strengthening the social dialogue in Azerbaijan.
